Whole Wheat Scones

Equipment

  • Small round stainless cutter
  • 2 Bowls
  • Cutting board
  • mixer
  • Baking sheet with parchment paper

Ingredients
  

  • cup Whole wheat flour
  • cup Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • ¼ cup Butter (soften)
  • 2 teaspoons Light corn syrup (warm)
  • 1⅔ cup Milk
  • pinch Salt
  • as needed Jam
  • as needed Clotted cream or soft butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl, add the softened butter
  • Mix until it looks like crumbs.
  • Add the warm corn syrup and enough milk to make a soft dough.
  • On a floured board, roll about an ½ thick, cut small rounds
  • Place on a baking sheet
  • Bake about 10-15 minutes, serve with jam and clotted cream or butter. Enjoy!
