Ingredients

cup
Whole wheat flour
1½
cup
Flour

teaspoons
Baking powder
¼
cup
Butter (soften)
2
teaspoons
Light corn syrup (warm)
1⅔
cup
Milk
pinch
Salt
as needed
Jam
as needed
Clotted cream or soft butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl, add the softened butter
Mix until it looks like crumbs.
Add the warm corn syrup and enough milk to make a soft dough.
On a floured board, roll about an ½ thick, cut small rounds
Place on a baking sheet
Bake about 10-15 minutes, serve with jam and clotted cream or butter. Enjoy!
