Hummus

This is great snack with Naan bread or cut up vegetables!

3qt pot (cook chickpeas)
- 2 cups Chickpeas (soaked, cooked, skins removed) soak chickpeas overnight.
- ⅓ cup Tahini
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 2-3 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1-2 cups Filtered water
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Red pepper
- ¼ teaspoon White pepper
- as needed Paprika
- as needed Olive oil
Place soaked chickpeas into a 3 quart pot, cover in water, add salt, and cook over medium heat for 30 to 45 minutes (until soft).
Place cooked chickpeas into a blender, add half of the water, olive oil, lemon juice, tahini, garlic, and seasonings.
Blend until smooth, more water may be needed to blend smoother.
Garnish with a few whole chickpeas. Drip Olive oil on top then sprinkle with red pepper or paprika serve. Enjoy!
